I just want to swing on this Chandelier!

We finally picked out lighting for our daughters bedroom and I'm so happy that we picked the antique white & pink chandelier from Lowes! We purchased it for a great price & on sale with a discount ($44.99), not too expensive or too cheap. All that matters is that it fits our budget and it looks so beautifully chic hanging in their bedroom! My girls are very girly girls and they love everything fairytale like & whimsical princess environment ...whats new hehe! So this lighting just adds that twinkle into their bedroom! I've always wanted to decorate my daughters room with a chandelier and so glad we were able to make that happen for our little angels <3<3<3 I love the traditional antique style of the chandelier. It gives a nice focal point to the bedroom. The material is nice and sturdy. It was very easy to put together. I had to hook all of the crystal pieces onto the chandelier and it didn't take me too long to do (about 10-15min). I had to purchase the 3 light bulbs (60w) separately. That goes on the very last step! I am so grateful that I had help from my family member who did all the handy work w/ hanging the lighting for me! I was just the assistant today! I am handy in most areas but not w/ the powertool yet! This momma got to learn that skill soon! Very thankful for family!
I love sharing my decor styles with everyone & have been enjoying the art of interior decorating in our new home! Everything is taking time and coming together in our home sweet home! I am hoping that I finish more home decor in each room soon in the near future! It's been so much fun being creative & decorating! What is your style? What kind of lighting would you choose?

Showstopper

I own many eye shadow palettes from Tarte and I absolutely love them all! Thank you Tarte for putting together user friendly palettes that are a one stop shop! Usually their palettes includes eyeshadows, a blush, a highlighter & a bronzer that is color coordinated within the palette which makes it easy to use. The palette I will be blogging about today is definitely a gem in my make up kit! It's called, "Showstopper" by Tarte cosmetics love, love, love how all the colors are so neutral w/ just enough shimmers! Definitely a showstoppin look for an everyday look or if you want to wear to work or a date night! I got this palette a few months ago but i haven't had a chance to try it on myself until today & I'm happy w/ the results of how the colors pop on my eyes! The eye shadow colors are very warm, neutral and not overwhelming on the eyes which is great, just in case if i wanted to pull it off everyday :-) Fyi I'm usually bare face everyday haha!!! ...unless i'm in the mood or have some place to go then I'm full on w/ my make up!

So here is my look of the day using the "Showstopper" palette by Tarte: Clockwise here are the names of the colors on the palette that I will be referencing- Park ave princess, Champagne pink, dim the lights, rose to the top, steel the scene, you're a natural, go for the gold, showstopper copper & blush- fame

The colors are so pretty & neutral- I am wearing the 3 eye shadows on the bottom left side of the palette: I swept go for the gold across my lids, then blended you're a natural onto my brow bone as a matte highlight along w/ champagne pink to bring out more highlights on my browbone. Lastly, I buffed & blended showstopper copper onto the crease of my eyes for definition. Topped it off w/ waterproof gel eyeliner from Too faced & faux lashes/ mascara to pop my asian eyes :-p

I used the highlighter champagne pink above the apples of my cheeks to highlight my face (place it where the light naturally hits your face) gives you that winter glow :-) Love the cheek color fame b/c it's a subtle corally pink color - i swept it on the apples of my cheeks (i used very little product on my cheeks along w/ contouring it) I contoured my face w/ park ave princess

Lips: Josie Maran argon color stick in "Happy"

That lipstick really describes my mood :-0
